The CZ 457 Varmint in .17 HMR is a bolt-action rimfire built for accurate pest and varmint work. It carries a 525mm (20.5in) cold-hammer-forged heavy barrel with no sights and an 11mm dovetail receiver for scope mounting, a Turkish walnut varmint stock with checkering and rubber recoil pad, and CZ’s fully adjustable trigger (1.8 to 3.4 lb). The 457 action gives a 60 degree bolt lift for clearance under low-mounted scopes, a push-to-fire safety with cocking indicator, and CZ’s interchangeable barrel system. Weight is approximately 3.2 kg and it feeds from a 5-round detachable polymer magazine. Imported by Winchester Australia (code CZ45717VARMINT).
