The self-timing locking nut lets you index the ports to the rifle by hand without shims, crush washers or a gunsmith, and the tunable top ports let you trim muzzle rise to your load. APA has since released the Gen 4 Little Bastard, so this Gen 3 unit is run-out stock at 3 Gun Tactical, Tingalpa QLD.
Do I need a gunsmith to fit this brake?
Normally no. The self-timing nut lets you rotate the brake to vertical and lock it in place by hand on a correctly threaded muzzle. A gunsmith is still required if your barrel needs threading.
