3GT is privately owned Australian training company that started in 2017 after speaking to members of the Australian Military and various Law Enforcement agencies about the absence of training and practice with weapons, particularly firearms on and off the job.

Our purpose

3GT’s purpose is to help address this challenge by delivering the best possible technical and practical firearms training in a positive, friendly and encouraging environment to enable armed officers and operators to not only have the best skills and capabilities they possibly can, but also facilitate regular structured coaching, training and skills enhancement so members can be competent and confident in their abilities to effectively use those weapons if needed.

ADAM QUINN -Director & Licensed firearms instructor-

Adam’s 10+ years of experience as a PT Instructor and fitness advisor gives him a very solid understanding of Bio-Mechanics.  Combined with 15+ years of Corporate Finance and Banking experience in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan & the US and with establishing & exiting 4 successful companies are important to the leadership and management of 3GT.

After hearing that many police and military personnel were not as confident with firearms as they would like to be, Adam started 3GT as a project to enable service people to practice & develop firearm skills that were hard to access for them, and employment opportunities after leaving the services.  He has lead short and long courses for general duties and tactical Police officers in Australia, Japan, USA and other countries.

Our philosophy

3GT see firearm proficiency of our Law Enforcement Officers, Defence Force and security personnel as tantamount to their ability to operate, protect and serve our community.

Our aim is provide those personnel with the opportunity to refine and enhance existing techniques via training by our world class coaches and staff.

To be able to provide this training to the service men and women of our various State and Federal Police forces, members of the Army, Royal Australian Navy and Royal Australian  Air Force to ensure they protect their brothers and sisters in arms, their local communities and their country is an honour we do not take lightly.

We also cater to shooting enthusiasts who hold a in-date state shooting licence with the aim to advance and enhance your current abilities.
